Northern Summer Fun (Day 6): A poem about Canadian Summer (Winter?)

It is Summer in the North
It is dark under this Sun
The flowers went to hide
Because here comes:
A wind that bites!

I am missing a few piecesfile9321290884905
After going for a walk.
I got left, just seven fingers
Which is plenty if you write.

Hug my soul before it freezes
In this Northern Summer fun
It’s minus twenty digits
I think Winter stole July.
